Service Description

Mishkan: Jewish Color Practice — A Six-Class Omer Series Color is a wavelength—a powerful symbol that communicates with our minds in both conscious and unconscious ways. It can be a tool for transforming our homes into sacred spaces and bringing healing into our lives. This six-class series uses color as a practical language for spiritual and emotional awareness during the Omer—the weeks between Pesach and Shavuot. If you have wanted to learn the basics of the Sefirot, this is a wonderful opportunity. It’s also a great chance to create a deeper sense of the sacred in your home and everyday life. Each session will focus on one of the Sefirot and the colors associated with it, offering simple tools for grounding, reflection, and creative practice. Practices will include color meditation and other accessible activities. Additionally, each class will center on a specific area in the home—such as the kitchen, dining room, bedroom, or living room—and explore ways to cultivate intentionality and sacredness in these spaces. Session Topics: Session 1: Keter – The root of it all; thresholds in the home (4/15) Session 2: Chochma & Bina – The dynamic of seed and its development; the bedroom (4/22) Session 3: Hesed & Gevura – Exploring abundance, boundaries, giving, and receiving; the kitchen (4/29) Session 4: Tiferet – Harmony; the dining room, including the art of balance and beauty (5/6) Session 5: Netzach & Hod – The dynamic of consistency and rest, acting and listening; the living room, including the art of conversation (5/13 ) Session 6: Yesod – Being connected and channeling energy; a private creative space (office, studio, desk, or other) And Malchut – Manifestation; jewelry and the things we wear (5/20) With your registration, you’ll receive a pack of intentional color cards for use at home. If you already have the cards and do not want an extra set, you may select the 15% refund option during checkout. No prior experience is necessary. We meet on Wednesdays at 9:15 am Pacific, starting April 15th, Classes will be recorded and available for 30 days.
